Report Two UCLA Football Assistant Coaches Let Go Before Cactus Bowl Game

According to a report from Bruin Report Online, Scott White and Demetrice Martin will not be on the sidelines for the UCLA Bruins’ December 26th Cactus Bowl game against Kansas State as both coaches have reportedly been let go. The report adds that there has been no official confirmation from UCLA as to why the coaches were let go early. At the same time, those that are Twitter hounds like myself saw a very peculiar, and I will say classless, re-tweet by Scott White of a certain local recruit's negative tweet about UCLA and Chip Kelly hiring defensive backs coach Paul Rhoads. This is absolutely the correct move by UCLA. I cannot put myself in either coaches’ shoes during this difficult time for

Nebraska Recruiting WR/TE Justin McGriff is ‘N’

Hello again! Adding one more to the N column, a former UCF commit: and now Nebraska-bound. Welcome to Justin McGriff, a 3* WR/TE out of Tampa, Florida. Sean Beckton, the new tight ends coach, was his lead recruiter at UCF and now Nebraska, so I imagine he’ll play TE at Nebraska. His size (6’ 5”, 210 lbs) is needed and I would expect him to get some targets in the flat. Here is McGriff’s HUDL film: With McGriff’s commitment, Nebraska’s class is now at 10 commits. Nebraska should move to #67 nationally but no change in the Big Ten. For those who are curious, yes, McGriff did just come off his visit. That’s 3 commits off one weekend. Not bad for a part-time staff. Welcome Justin, and Go Big Red!

A Look at the Future of the QB Position in Stillwater OK

Is it too early to be looking ahead? Yeah. We have a big game against VA Tech this month, but you can’t blame me for taking a peak at the future. Mason Rudolph only has one game left behind center for the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Rudolph is arguably the best quarterback that has ever put on an orange and black jersey, and fans will be watching him play for Coach Mike Gundy for the last time this bowl season. He will be leaving Stillwater holding the school record for passing yards, passing touchdowns, total offensive yardage and total offensive touchdowns. He is also the winningest quarterback in Oklahoma State history, passing head coach Mike Gundy earlier this season. He has a beautiful long

Notre Dame Football Mike McGlinchey And Quenton Nelson Are AP All-Americans

In a resurgent year for the running game, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish had two players that stood above the rest as the driving force... Mike McGlinchey and Quenton Nelson. The pair that shared a fist bump before each snap and led the way on the ground, now share first team AP All-American honors. I know... that last sentence is entirely unoriginal. Honestly, I’m having a hard time finding the words and a hard time trying to understand how the season ended on such a disappointment with these two giants leading the way. It’s incredibly rare to have two lineman as first-team AP All-American’s, and the last time the Irish did it was in 1931 - 86 years ago. I guess that’s what makes these kind of
